Grandma Sherry and Reese attempted to fly a kite by themself first which was not very sucessful.
Grandpa Kurt came to the rescue and helped out.
Then it was decided we needed to get the kite higher.
Grandma Sherry suggested fishing line so Grandpa Kurt just got his fishing pole.
Everybody watching the kite. It was a perfect day to fly a kite.
Fun way to celebrate Grandpa Kurt's birthday.
Everybody had to give it a try.
It was a very clever idea because you could just real the line in or out.
I did't get a picture but when we were getting ready to leave my dad was sitting out in the yard
on a lawn char with his fishing pole flying a kite. It was pretty commical.
A beer in hand would have made it even better though.
